Softball tickets for the upcoming Los Angeles Olympic Games have gone on sale to the general public through the LA28 Ticket Drop 1. Here’s everything we’ve learned.

The winners of a lottery for a presale prioritizing locals often came away with sticker shock. Still, organizers said early sales had “significantly exceeded” those of other Games.

The LA28 Games will be the largest Olympics ever with 351 medal events.

Since the Cover the Cruiser campaign began in 2020, the agency has raised $75,700.76 to support Special Olympics Kentucky programs. In 2025, the Kentucky State Police raised $8,304.11, with Post 5 Campbellsburg collecting the most donations at $1,392.03.

The La Brea Tar Pits’ Page Museum along Wilshire Boulevard is set to close for two years starting in July, and the Getty Center, just west of the 405, is slated to close for about a year starting on March 15, 2027. The reopening dates for both are still in flux but are expected sometime in 2028.
